PR team,

How likely is it that the mod will add more armies aside from the british troops? if it is likely at all.

just wondering because i think it would add more to the game and keep the mod from going old if new things are added as time goes on(like armies and weapons)

Just wondering, if you had the option to, what other countries would you add into the game? Cause I can't really think of a lot of Formable countries really, but then again, Guerilla tactics are giving our troops a beating in Iraq, even though the weapons they use are like 40 years and so on years older then the U.S's, which are reletively new, or at least Continously Up-Dated over the years.

well, how about an international force, like the UN where its a mix of guys from different countries and set it as a peacekeeping-gone-wrong type of thing. or just break down the MEU, cant have an MEU if reality is the idea, make them more insurgent type fighters to go along with what you pointed out about iraq. i also think adding Germans or French into the game would add a few things, obviously they wouldnt fight against the US or eachother. seen as how the MEU and china dont fight each other thats sort of an alliance as pointed out in another forum so why not add some allies of the US even if they arent currently giving us a hand in Iraq (since the conflict in the game will be a different fight) Or, how about adding in a sort of Korean War Pt 2, that would be interesting also.

Take BF2 to the limit, keep the game getting better everytime you play, thats what i think a mod's about.

Don't know how well the French could do in a fight considering their track-record..... but anyway, the rest sounds pretty good actually. I just thought of Australia perhaps, in the future, they could add there army in as well if they decided to put in more countries.

i believe GSG-9 is their anti terror unit, more a police force than a military unit... a paramilitary unit 8)

GSG-9 is the counterterrorist/hostage rescue unit of the Federal German Border Police (Bundesgrenschutz). Think of them as being akin to the FBI Hostage Rescue Team, except all members are parachute qualified (but this may have changed with the activation of KSK). They operated internationally in Mogadishu in 1977 in response to the hijacking of a Lufthansa flight, assaulting the aircraft and rescuing the hostages.

Following the activation of Kommando Spezialkrafte (KSK; not to be confused with the Bundesmarine Kampfschwimmer Kompanie), which also performs general special operations missions, their CT/HR role became strictly domestic. The KSK were formed from the de-activated Fernspahkompanen (sp?), the long-range reconnaissance companies of the Bundeswehr.

Walk them through it? Heh-heh, I think they knew what they were doing. The SAS men were there as "observers and advisors," and IIRC, were training them on the recently developed flashbang grenades as well as learning GSG-9s techniques. The two units have really grown together and have always had a strong working relationship.

I would personally like to see the Israilie Army, they have extremly good Special Forces, and along with them, we could toss in some local pubs, that shoud bring the Irish.
