What timezone, which days? What is is about? Do you have a scenario/draft ready? You need help with what?

I just might be interested, dependant on the answers given. But i tell you one thing, its hard to get active people to join. My advice is, plan small and get it started asap while its still hot.

The timezone i the eastern us timezone. the days will really depend on when i am not working. what i need help with is i need people that would be willing take part in the series. What I am thinking of to begin with is to just try and put together a few trailers for the series while i plan out what the first episode of it will be.

One doesnt simply make a trailer for something that is about to be done...

@KillJoy[Fr] what I need is people to be extras such as random soldiers on the battlefield or what ever other minor parts i need filled.

@Arnoldio until i have a full crew i can't begin the serious work of the series so i will have to make due with making some trailers just to get some people interested in what i plan on doing and hopefully get some ppl to say hey this look neat i'll help you with this if you need more ppl.

Gathering your "crew" is typically the final step before the shoot. Get you idea(s) together and create a cohesive plan. Then, rather than putting out an "all hands on deck", post a list of roles you require and clear schedule of events. Organization is the key to success here, unless you really enjoy herding virtual multilingual cats.

If I'd see an idea and further details i could say 'yes, im interested' or 'no, im not'

Write down your ideas, concepts and further stuff to let people know what you are planning on.

You must write down the script, prapare the scenarios, choose music, know how to edit videos... Or get other people to do that. Everything must be ready. Then you just gather up actors, shoot according to the plan, edit, and voila, you have your vids. If you have series in mind, you have to write up the following one, so the actors are in standby all the time and stuff is being made. Once nothing is happening, people become uninterested and leave.

Its not easy to make a good movie, and the way youre going isnt really the smartest.

I do need help with writing a script for this as writing as not been one of my strong suites. i do have some general ideas of what i want to do in the first episode but do need some people to help me with running through the scenes and seeing if they are possible or if i have to go back to the drawing board on them. i was thinking of making a few episodes before releasing it.

For those of you that want to see what I have in mind here is what I've planned for the first episode.
Map- ramiel
opening section- A US Army convoy consisting of four humvees and two supply trucks, moves west along the northeast road into the city. they only get a short distance into the city on their way back to base when they get attacked by insurgent forces who take out the lead humvee and block off all possible escape routes for the convoy before attacking heavily from all sides. being pinned down and heavily engaged the remaining personel of the convoy radio for reinforcements and try to hold out till they arrive.
section 2- The relief column getting their orders and getting ready to move out. the next scenes will show the relief column making their way to the trapped convoy and beating back the insurgent attack.
section 3-show alpha squad out on patrol in the looking for a possible weapons cache . after a few small skirmishes with insurgent forces they come across the cache and radio in it's position to headquarters so the engineers can come take care of it.

Good, were getting somewhere. (I sent you a PM also...)
Now what you have to do is plan all of the three parts at once, to a similar level, otherwise the first aprt will be really good and others will be rushed... or go from 3 to 1.When you have a pretty exact plan, start adding the details as camera angles, dialogue, music etc.

the camera angles i will need people to do some trial runs with to run though the parts to see what angles look best for the scenes. dialogue i already have i will be giving that out to the actors once i have the crew together. music i won't really worry about too much until the post production editing stage.

Oh jeez, good luck with this.

Btw the secret to your success lies in the realization that you may as well be herding cats. If you can find a way to maintain the interest of your crew, you are golden. That BTW, requires that you do a great deal of preparation: storyboards, a script, and something that will help you describe to your actors exactly what actions and movements you want them to do.

It takes some doin' but if you want it, you'll get 'er done.

i have everything planned out that i can for the first episode i just really need a crew so i can start working on it, I also have some of the second episode planned out but without a crew I have no reason to finalize what will happen in the second episode or even begin planning the 3rd or 4th episode.
