Dont know what is being changed but it worries me that you (the R-DEVs)might let random guys without any military training/combat experience decide what is "good devation".

They let random guys decide how the game works and how to MAKE IT FUN and not FRUSTRATING ;)

How else are you going to get feedback FROM THE PLAYERS before you release something? That and anyone with half a brain will know that it does NOT take 5+ seconds to settle your rifle for a single god damn shot. You should very well be able to point your rifle at a target, fire, and see the impact WHERE YOU AIMED. NOT five or twenty feet to the left or right. You should very well be able to kill the guy two feet in front of you on full auto and not have the bullets go everywhere but that two feet in front of you. The current deviation is quite honestly heartbreaking. I am challenged to enjoy a round of PR because there are so many things that need fixing. The deviation is one thing that NEEDS to be fixed PROPERLY- ONCE AND FOR ALL! Enough of this changing things around ****, just make the code to the best of your abilities, DEV's, and LEAVE IT THE HELL ALONE until you can IMPROVE upon it and not change it entirely! We want lazer (side note: I find it funny that spell check doesn't have lazer but has "lazes" in its dictionary) like weapons, we don't want frigging airsoft rifles with ammunition that goes all over hells half acre. We're tired of the deviation varying from patch to patch like CoD's deviation varies from second to second.

Please for the love of god make this the final change DEV's!

Why would they need feedback from people who know nothing about reallife shooting?
They are still trying to keep it somewhat realistic arent they?

Its like with the sprintsystem.. people who never tried running around in full combat gear thought PR soldiers are couchpotatoes with no stamina. Now we have supersoldiers that can sprint like olympic athletes despite the 30kg of gear strapped to them.

Also stop exaggerating please..
Deviation is not as bad as you try to make it out to be.
It doesnt take 5sec to hit a mansized target from 50m. It takes less than 2sec.
And if you cant hit a guy 2feet away from you on fullauto, you need to practice more.

The only thing i can agree with you is that the Devs can "leave it the hell alone".
Deviation is pretty good at the moment..

Signed up for the test btw..

I appreciate your will to discuss the changes but please wait until you've tried it out.
You guys have no idea how much we changed the deviation and even started complaining.
We want to give you guys an insight on our current development and request the feedback before the release.
We havn't turned this into a CoH, I promise guys; the deviation has been improved slightly.

We have very exact orientations and own experience how weapons feel in real life. As we aren't able to model that 1:1 into the game for obvious reasons we try to find compromises.
Maybe you shouldn't forget we are NOT asking the community how we should change it.
We already DID and the only thing we request is feedback on that.

Obviously everything can improved that's why I'm glad the devs are running this test.

At least we can all agree on this: it would be stupid WITHOUT deviation.

I heard a guy who played arma saying this system is bad, maybe. But in arma2 you drop down on your belly and fire a LMG accurate within 2s...

3 seconds AT LEAST untill you are ready to shoot at a specific target which is fairly realistic, if you use aiming deadzone option.

Aiming deadzone is one of the things i suggest PR devs add to PR which would remove need for deviation in general.. I am afraid however that BF2 engine prevents such thing like it prevents leaning around corners.

And PR devs should make that prone glitch disappear, dont know why its not gone yet, Example - when you go from crouch to prone stance your cant hit anything for about 5 seconds no matter what weapon you use...
