I am not quite sure, but I heard it was not allowed to publish videos from the closed deviation test, because people will start judging things without even having played it?
(clanmate told me)

I think that you have to ask devs first, then upload ;)

I hope it will not to fast centration, could make the game to arcade or action like. To simulate the aiming of the weapon i think in close quter it could be a liddl bit quicker but on medium to far its ok.

Bad deviation example are the Israel weapons way to fast. Only shooting in full auto. Als the weapon sway is way way to less. Should bounce more with every shot.

A good one are the Militia weapons and AK models 47/74.

deviation is not the same as recoil

Seems like shooting on the move is really easy now, or maybe time compression he was using just made it seem that way.

Bad deviation is where the bullet doesn't go where you point. Thanks DEVs for giving this another go and allowing a look at the event. Looking good so far.

I did not have that much firefights so you probably won?t see much of the actual changes. I am sorry for that! But being a toilet guard, a medic and a crow humvee gunner sadly does not give you many opportunities to get large killing spree?s. But screw that, I had a lot of fun anyways!

I think this "bad deviation" was intendet to simulate the time you need to aim. Because its(was) not "possible" to visual simulate this. You had to wait 3-4 sec to be accurate, the same time you need to get your weapon up, look throu your scope, center on your target and hold your breath. Problem is here, the difference between close quarter and long range firering.

I would prefer such thing like weaponsway (bf2142 i think only support that and bullet "physik") and a simulation of aiming from the hip to the eye. But its hard work.
What already exists is when you move, the scope also moves. That could be according to the better deviation a liddl bit stronger. So that while moving, or stand change, the scope is wobbling more.

If everyone is to accurate, firefights will be very quick over (like in ArmA). Who sees and shoot first winns.
So you also have no chance to get in cover or try a new attack. Thats not so realistic but supports teamwork and tactics.

Good video by the way Spook. :)

I recorded from the beginning to the end, almost 4 hours of footage that used up all the remaining space on my external HDD, but it's all ruined because FRAPS decided to record only my microphone and mumble, even though mumble was coming out of the same speakers as the game sound...
