FN MAG GPMG Series

Hello everyone!

It's been a long time coming, but at last this beast is ready to make its entrance on the battlefield. Designed at FN Herstal in Belgium during the 1950s, the FN MAG has seen widespread use with armies all around the world and in a multitude of configurations. Its design, based on battle proven weapons like the M1918 BAR and the ever infamous MG 42, makes the MAG an exceptionally reliable and robust support weapon.

Initially being featured in the Argentinian and British arsenals for the upcoming PR:BF2 Falklands minimod, the MAG and its respective variants will be used by the British, US, USMC, Canadian, IDF and French forces in PR 1.0. Although featured in the Automatic Rifleman class of both factions of PR:F, a new MG class will be introduced for all factions in PR 1.0. This class will generally use machine guns chambered for full-power rifle cartridges, like the MAG. The Automatic Rifleman class will instead mainly feature squad automatic weapons, like the FN Minimi. The MAG and several of its other configurations will also be seen on static weapon emplacements and mounted on vehicles.

The original L7A2 version of the FN MAG was created by [R-DEV]DMC. Variants done by [R-DEV]Tim270 and [R-DEV]Spush.

From left to right (optics may vary): C6 & C6 with Elcan, L7A2 & L7A2 with Elcan, M240B & M240B with Elcan.

NICE, so heavy MG kit?

I am anxious to know how the kit will work. Will it have to be bi-pod deployed and take slightly longer with 1 per team. Will it have less ammo? so beautiful tho, I wish I had a PC that could give me fps above 18 so I can actually see how cool this looks

Well, technically no, a Heavy MG kit would need a hurl around a M2HB or some other type of 50cal, HMG :p

The MG kit or Machine Gunner kit is for a a GPMG/MMG weapon which is basically the heaviest type of MG that can be handheld, while the LMG are still in the Automatic Rifleman kit :)
HMGs can only be mounted on tripods or vehicles generally speaking.

what a shame. Whoever propagated that to me, was talking about a ghost vehicle, within the actual vehicle, so the vehicle kind of acts as two, which stuck players onto it. Seemed plausible..

I knew for a long time that the FN MAG series will be included in the 1.0 but that doesn't stop me from saying...HOLY FVCKING SH1T THIS IS AWESOME AS FVCK!!!!!

Also, I'm not so sure but I don't think that the C6s are equipped with C79s.
