Mumble not able to connect to server

I'm having troubles to connect to the PR mumble server

Mumble keeps on telling me that it is not able to connect to the official server. I've tried everything...port forwarding, firewall exceptions, cleaned the registry even added the movie files...but still it is not working.

Any ideas what could fix this? I need it to get working or i'm getting kicked from most of the servers :(

Yeah, it's down for a few hours while it gets moved to a new server. It'll be back up as soon as possible.

Seems that US players can get on but not players from Europe.
Austria works also....
No-go for Denmark, and several from England.

Start Mumble -> Server -> Connect -> add server -> adress "mumble etc" ! delete that adres, and set it to : 142.54.165.194
normal port etc, and off you go
1234556

What exactly does this mean? Regardless I can't connect to mumble either.I've Tried every one of the things mentioned short of screwing with the dns servers and the ISP. Mumble constantly says the connection timed out, but I can ping and tracert the address both directly and the ip that's in the connection viewer I have. And just to ask, mumble.realitymod.com 64739 Is correct? I'd love for somebody with an idea about this to confirm that for me.

Just a question, does the fact if I go to the server browser and click add new when it's trying to connect, the mumble.realitymod.com port 64739 entry is there, but the label box is blank and ok is blacked out unless I enter something in the label box possibly have anything to do with it? I .I have doubts that's the problem since it's timing out and not refusing or such, but don't know until I ask.Although I doubt this really affects this. On Another note, random gibberish addresses time out just as much. Lol.

Ok,after a while thinking about and a dope slap of how it didn't click with all the pieces, it's possibly the dns didn't clear for mumble.realitymod.com yet on my end, and the ip is wrong.Any idea about that or anything else? If somebody can get rid of my last post or tell me how since I think it's completely wrong that the browser could screw it up in that manner, that'd be fine.

And I just realized I could of put this in it's place. Damn it.

EDIT: It was the dns. Tried it again, the ip had changed and it worked. Damn you TTL! Keeping me from PR. Lol

And I still don't get your 1234556 line, swede. Damn quote had the ip, should of tried it, but your 1234556 threw me off as a "WTF is that supposed to mean" and I spent 2 hours trying to figure it out  .

If anyone is wondering, yes I cleared the dns cache. It was the dns server not my computer dns that was wrong so I had to wait for it to refresh before it had the right ip for mumble.realitymod.com.

Not sure if this is the problem, but has anyone else tried making a entry in the server browser with that ip swede posted? For those who still aren't working? Open mumble, then go to connect (server then connect) or the browser (the left most icon at the top that's a globe),click add new,put whatever label you want, address 142.54.165.194,port 64739 and your username. Then click ok and double click on the new server in your favorites and it should connect if it works.Thats how I got it working when it stopped working when I restarted mumble once as another dns server had the old ip until the TTL ran out. And if this does fix it you may have to manually select it again in the browser from your favorites when you restart mumble.
And just saying now, should that ip become invalid, mumble.realitymod.com should work (replace the ip with that address). If the dns isn't wrong (the servers not your computers, although you can clear your computers dns however and make sure you clear it on your end as that could be the problem if you haven't), it should work like it usually did before I had this problem. The mumble.realitymod.com address work fine now for me.

crs24 you need more spaces between your lines :P it will get easier for us to read.

I told people to go into ipconfig and write /flushdns then restart mumble and it worked for them. but it might not work for everyone :P
