Increasing rifleman only to 3 gernades(extend usefulness of kit)?

Figured i'd post this as its been an idea i've had for some time, and didn't post in the suggestions because its sort of more a personal feedback suggestion than a new full blown suggestion that the devs have already considered many times, but wanted it to be a revisited idea plus gameplay discussion.

Anyway the reasoning is to give the rifleman kit 3 gernades, to increase the usefulness of the kit. As of now the rifleman has nothing besides the ammo bag to make players really care about the kit and always opt for a specialized kit whenever possible. As of now 2 is too few for many applications in PR and being a normal footsolider realistically more would be carried. I know the devs several patches back decided to nerf explosives in many kits and this has stuck since and for good reason. Having 4-5 nades in all kits that have nades like in 0.5 or so was and is way overkill as with that many you can essentially bomb out a entire building or courtyard with 1 man but I think a slight change with just the rifleman, a only moderately used kit as it is would add slightly more incentive and usefulness rather than just having a ammobag. Also only being 1 kit would not change the gernade figure much at all leaving all specialized kits the same. I would recommend the officer as well but realistically a officer has a lot of other equipment to carry and having a sidearm is enough to differentiate the kit as it is.

Having 2 on a consistent basis is just frustrating too few, especially with little ammo around and 2 not being able to really do much sometimes. Only restriciting it to 1 kit would keep the fine line because 3 for everyone would be a drastic change in itself.

The idea is this would be for just conventional rifleman to show equipment superiority but could be for maybe well equipped miltiant factions(Chechen, Hamas) but still keep just 2 for ins as gernades are expensive and not common to come by.

Disagree based on the fact the Rifleman already carries a lot of equipment and you've got an ammo bag if you need more grenades.

In an ideal world I'd like to see it that the Rifleman can pick a total of three or four grenades from the three existing types (eg three frags and a smoke or two incendiaries and two smokes) but obviously that's hardcoded.

Interesting suggestion though. I'm curious what the rest of the community will say about it.

I don't think the rifleman is meant to be on par with the specialized kits, it's more there to make crates useful, so people can only spawn with the most fundamental, or stripped down classes. Maybe an alt rifleman with no ammo bag and a bunch of smokes and fragS?

I like idea of 3 grenades.

Feels like Soviet/Chechnya(1st) times when soldiers were issued 3 grenades but only 2-cell pouch.

Last grenade for you know what. XD

if you need more grenades in your squad, get a grenadier instead.

3 grenades is to much I think 2 m67 grenades for a maximum.

Yes, because Grenadier can launch his 40mm grenades at a target in the room next by.

he can stand further away. if my squad is going in I usually stand back and shoot grenades inside all the windows I can see before they go in.

That doesn't work, most of the time. Look at the T shaped building and how its modeled. Perhaps, you'll get a number of 40mm grenades in one room, but what about the others. Frag grenades are more effective at room clearing then 40mm grenades, MOSTLY.
