ok guys i know ive been asking a little in game but here goes i bought a acer 5250 laptop in order to A. play PR and B. retain its value as im moving about alot and its easy to sell i paid 250 its 289 on amazon. specs as follows,

amd dual core e450 - dual coire 1.56ghz
6gb ddr3 ram
ati 6320 gfx

now before anyone goes its a laptop well yeah it is ok bedroom boys, know i want to know is there anything i can do to Bf2 or the laptop to increase my FPS rate ?

changes to laptop
changes to game
better fps?

some times it is around 20 on just normal noodling around. its a 64 bit system win7.

id really appreciate any tips as to how to speed up the thing. OR if anyone has a i3 acer model could they tell me is it worth the upgrade. many thanks

Pretty much have to buy new, because, instead of desktop PC, laptops parts cant be changed in easy way. Except for RAM and HDD. Sorry for bad news, but that is how things work. And always for games: Desktop PC. Laptop is not made for anything serious (in gaming way). Except super expensive ones like Alienware etc.

UPGRADING a laptop is about as expensive as BUYING one, so might as well BUUY a new one.

ok heres an example a 3650 costs about 50$ for a desktop, the same card on a laptop costs 300$ with it being as powerful as a card thats one lower class, thats if you manage track a laptop GPU down.
2nd you can not upgrade from amd dual core e450 - dual coire 1.56ghz to an i3, problem being that the socket isnt the same, the CPU being from different companies and all, even if the CPU was intel you still couldnt upgrade cuz the socket is different. You can not replace motherboards on laptop (cuz they suck like that).
so tips to get your laptop to run faster = a new laptop because acer in all their genius did this

who the hell makes a laptop with 6gb ddr3 and GPU then give a CPU that weaker than newer pentium 4s.

Im a laptop user, well i have one and ill tell you one thing THEY SUCK! They suck, and they suck at everything, not being able to game is alright, but you cant even do serious PC related work, because the screens too small, they overheat like theres no tomorrow the keyboard is terrible on every single one of them and the battery life and weight make them more like portable desktops, but out of all the **** that laptops are, acer is in my experience the crappiest...

now you may say im being mean, and i am, because you come in here asking for help, but acting like a down right *********, and then you throw offenses at cossacks even though every singe word he said was true.

Oh you might try game booster could affect FPS and boost it a few FPS up.... like 2 or 5... maybe

Interested why everyone is saying SAME damn thing? Its problem on hardware side not software side, alright? And laptop IS NOT FOR GAMING AND CANT BE UPGRADED. There is a lot people saying "derp both laptop, want to run games faster". And they will always get same answer.

SO NO TIPS EXIST. No offense but you from moon or something?
