Normandy Community Task : Panzerschreck

Hey community! The germans could use a new 3D model for the HAT kit, since now we only have the Panzerfaust as AT weapon, it would help us all to have a Panzerschreck model. :)

The Panzerschreck is a rocket launcher that was used by the Germans during WW2. It saw great use on the Normandy and Eastern front.

Here's a quality render from FH2 :

So if any 3D modelers out there want to try to model this, you're welcome and would get you a nice "Project Normandy Contributor" under your profile name mark like me. Even if you're new at modeling, as seen by the awesome work of RatFace on the 88mm cannon that he made.

I believe Ice_killer was working on one in the normandy discussion area, not sure if u missed it :D

I think that this is one of those iconic german weapons, like the flak, that need to be put in, especially since I love the panzershreck, I made a paintball version a while ago, so damn fun XD

Yeah but Ice_killer didn't answer to us lately, he's not really active for now it seems.

So in the meantime we're looking for someone to model this :)

I'm NOT claiming this right now, but if I even get time before release to finish up the flak I will try my hand at it. Again, tho, I am NOT claiming this right now :)

Doc.Pock wants to try it, but it's not guaranted. So would be cool if you could make it Ratface :)

Ok, if I ever do start it you will see a post in community modding, otherwise someone else should probably start it, especially if we want it before release, whenever that will end up being :)

I told you I would only start it when I finish at least one of the projects. So anyone can do it if he wants.

Does that modeler have to do all the coding and texturing stuff for it?

The modeller has to model the weapon and create a UV-map for it. Textures can be done by someone else, same for coding and animating.

Thanks, I'll start modeling. I didn't want to waste my effort if you already had a model.
