OD-S will be hostings its annual zombie madness event in about two weeks time. We feel like this will be the greatest one yet!

Event rules:
- Survivors may only use shotguns, pistols, knives.

- Last 3 survivors may use all weapons.

- Zombies may respawn, survivors will switch to the zombie team once they are _DEAD_. Reviving fallen people is ok. Please use common sense, if you are wounded in the middle of nowhere, just give up.

- Martyrdom rule regarding grenades is still ok. This means that a survivor may only use a grenade if it kills him in the process. This individual CAN NOT BE REVIVED, EVEN IF ONLY WOUNDED!

- Zombies may build hideouts(if insurgents). Survivors may not build firebases.

- EVERYONE IN ONE MUMBLE CHANNEL!

Due to feedback and requests from previous years, we are initially leaving the scenarios out, unless a lot of people request to have them added back in. We will be doing good ol' zombie madness on various maps(mostly new ones!!). Some maps will most likely have a route you must follow, which will be briefed before the round starts.

Events starts at 1900 GMT on Saturday the 27th of October.

Server will be the OD-S server, password TBA in this thread.

Also I would love to have the scenarios back, just a little better thought out rather than the suicide rush on ramiel like last time.

I would consider changing the last 3 survivors rule so you could have last 8 if they are only using shotguns, pistols and knives.

I shall have fraps ready.

Yeah PM them to me. Ill post in this thread when we come up with some outrageous scenarios.

I think its 2 year ago, when I was last man standing with one of the SRF guys on the rope bridge (Asad Khal). Or was it last year? Not sure. Was EPIC. CC died pretty fast

What a WIN event! .... whats the information on (admin) video recording members?

I'd like to see some scenarios back, even if its only one or two. I'll hopefully be making it again, should be a damn good time!

Zombies use a knife/restrainer depending on faction.

Can't wait to see this! Going to watch some vids of the old event now.

Count me in. I've been waiting for this event all year! Last year's was so funny but I tried recording it with my old computer but I had a lot of FPS problems. Now I have a new and 20 times better computer.
