Attention pilots!!!

I am coming back from a 4 month hiatus from pr and have decided to get more serious about air services in game(mostly due to watching falklands HUGE airspace). So I am very bad with kb/mouse and would like to get a joystick. Now I want to keep it under $50 if possible. I dont want some crazy setup, just a reliable and simple joystick. I have seen on other posts some complaints of people spending large amounts of money on joysticks that just dont want to work with pr. My criteria are this:

-Under $50
-reliable
-easily setup for pr
-comfortable for extended use(very important)
-adaptable for both planes and helos

I have a feeling this may be helpful to more than just me given a new release and most likely a sudden resurgence to pr(Yaaay!)

Thanks

I bought a simple saitek joy for $25. I've had to move 3 or 4 times w/ it, once all the way across the world, and it's holding up pretty well, especially for $25. Works perfectly w/ PR btw.

I use the Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas X (Amazon.com: Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas X Flight Stick: Video Games) and I've had no problems at all with it. It's actually very good for the cost.

I have a Saitek Cyborg Evo which I've had for about 5-6 years now - very reliable! I haven't had any major issues apart from dropping it and losing a button :/ You can adjust the top of the joystick where the hat switch is and angle the fire mode buttons, as well as moving up the wrist rest so its easy to get comfortable with.

The Logitech 3D Pro should do the trick for you. Don't get the one with force feedback (Logitech Force 3D Pro), it doesn't work too well.

Got that one too it is very useful for jets, although I still need to practice landing with it. But flying helicopters is nearly impossible with it.
