Hello. Human_001 here. After playing PR for a while today, I became frustrated with deviation of Rifles and LAT weapon and started reading 0.97 feedback forum to see if someone else was feeling same way. I found a thread about it, and at very recent reply, it said something like 'If you don't like current deviation try the Falkland' or similar.

I made local Falkland and started testing LAT and Rifle deviation. Then I found out after picking up Brisith Crewman kit MP5 it suddenly had the choice of full auto and semi auto, which was originally bugged and had only single shot. But how?

There was never an update on Falkland mod, nor had something like executable auto updater like Vietnam mod. I know Crewman MP5 only had semi auto because everyone was like that when playing Falklands.

Actually, wasn't there like a pre-beta test, then the 0.1 falklands was released subsequently? Did you perhaps play the test version?

The MP5 has always had both single and auto?

Also testing deviation on a local game is pointless since it differs from a dedicated server with lots of players in it.

No sir I did not play the test version. The only version I have and Installed is the 0.1 relase that I came to aware of after seeing Red colored server because I did not have Falkland.

I clearly remember Brisith Crewman MP5 was bugged to only have single-shot. I also remember that Officer MP5 was not bugged and had both semi and full auto mode.

I have used this kit (and many other) in both Local and Online server right after downloading.

I remember this because after finding this out I thought to myself that this is huge disadvantage compared to Argentinian side that has brand new M3 Grease gun that everyone wants to use.

Also, I have got shot while on Argentinian side by semi-auto MP5, and remember that because of this bug, compared to many Argentinian side using M3 Grease gun, almost no British side uses MP5 exept for Officer.

Must have been a server-side bug that was then fixed, or something... Client-side, the MP5 on Falklands was never bugged and always had both fire modes (and should therefore be superior to the grease gun due to the higher fire rate).

To put this simply, I would have been aware of any bug like this if there was one that was part of PR:F, and servers are not permitted to edit their files so if it was an issue with a server then it was down to server side modding, which isn't allowed and I wouldn't see why a server would risk their licence to brake the mp5...

Your most likely confusing the L1A1 SLR (British FN FAL) which while the normal FN FAL has full auto, the SLR only has single shot.
