[Help] weird texture after lightmapping

Hello.
Just finished lightmapping on medium for terrain and objects on my map and I have a problem: I have sky reflection on terrain on my FOV where a LOD switching distance for detail texture is active. Can this issue be addressed ? And which is the correct LOD switching setting for terrain's detail texture anyway?

the LOD switching setting cannot be changed (you can change it in the editor, but this will not carry over to ingame)
sounds like you have a 4k map
you need to change your terrain.con
open it with notepad/other editor and add the bold, underlined text
if v_arg1 == BF2Editor
terrain.create TerrainEditable
terrain.patchSize 128
terrain.subdividePatches 1
terrain.primaryWorldScale 4/0.000915527/4
terrain.secondaryWorldScale 16/0.234375/16
terrain.patchColormapSize 512
terrain.lowDetailmapSize 512
terrain.detailmapBaseName "Levels/burning_sands/Detailmaps/tx"
terrain.lowDetailmapBaseName "Levels/burning_sands/LowDetailmaps/tx"
terrain.colormapBaseName "Levels/burning_sands/Colormaps/tx"
terrain.lightmapBaseName "Levels/burning_sands/Lightmaps/tx"
terrain.farSideTiling 2/1
terrain.farTopTilingHi 3
terrain.farTopTilingLow 10
terrain.farYOffset 0
terrain.terrainWaterColor 0.537255/0.423529/0.313726
terrain.init
else
terrain.create Terrain
terrain.load Levels/burning_sands/terraindata.raw
terrainCuller.setUseStitchedLods 0
endIf

Hey mate. It's not about missing terrain patches. To make myself better understood: while in game, if you look at your feet you see the detailed texture, and if you look in the hills, you see the color texture. Well, I cannot see the detailed texture, which the game makes it active for a certain distance on player's FOV; and I see the sky instead of the detailed texture. Could this be happening because I didn't generate env maps?

sounds pretty strange, are you sure you set a lowdetailtexture for the detailtexture in question?
env map wise, perhaps you've selected envmap for that texture also, that setting is only used for when the detailtexture incorprates an alpha layer to show things like puddles/oil/ice.
Perhaps a screenshot would be the best way of explaining

LE found the setting I fooled arround with: MiscGroundProperties.lodSwitchDistance 150 in terrain editor, ground properties, general, tweaker bar. Will lower the value and see if has any effect. I'll be back with the results.

Problem Solved !
Reverted aforementioned LOD Switching distance to 30m and redone the terrain lightmapping.
Now, the issue before

Now, its how it supposed to be.
One last question. I activated the sorrounding terrain and done a lightmapping for the secondary terrain only. But in-game, secondary terrain is unchanged(brighter that the primary terrain that has already been lightmapped). help?

Re-save terrain compiled color and texture. For surrounding terrain, the game doesn't keep them separate. Thus after you lightmap, re-start the editor and then do a re-save and it'll merge them together.
