I suggest big all scale warfare maps. Like silent eagle and Shija valley.

I also suggest having multiple battles on maybe multiple days. So that most of the EU and NA community have a chance at playing in what I think to be a great set of battles: p

I look forward, and I think if anyone needs help in organization work I could step up - I'm more than happy.

Agreed with Mineral on full scale warfare. Marlin, Yamalia, Shija and Silent Eagle - all sounds great. But in map picking I would advise to pick balanced maps and friendly to all units no matter the scale of the map or the assets on it - Make it asset dependent but at the same time friendly to Infantry.

And I'm sure mister Wicca is willing to help hosting and proving stuff as [R-CON]Events thingy :) If he doesn't read this I'll tell him too.

If the EUs are so certain about their skills, why not Pavlovsk Bay?

I think it's pretty interesting to put pavlosk bay as battle ground, even to prove something. But not as first map in the beginning as I'm sure both teams will be willing rather try to estimate each teams performance and see what the other is good at and what not.

Pavlovsk Bay and Beirut would be one of the maps that could be picked for balancing advantages/disadvantages in both teams.

Maybe someone should go in and edit the factions on certain maps for this event, maybe a nice fun USMC vs. GB or US Army vs. Germany? ;)

hmm, it would be hard to accomplish with ping and timezone issues, i mean there's west coast americans aswell.

maybe it would best with east EU vs west EU(lol) and east america vs west america? south america vs north america?

Don't worry Alex, I'm sure we can come to a compromise. After all, we have played vs NA before even against Australia and Oceania or what ever it's called.

Well NA players would have the main advantage of speaking all english so no finnish guy with that hard accent and unpronounceable name :D

Being serious I hope this doesn't divide the community too much, as it's already pretty thin.

I wonder how you will be able to decide which players go to which team, as they can lie on their origins when registrating for the event.

Not unless DEVs allows us to make the sign ups here, or we just make it in community forums - Although I don't see a point why someone would lie, for all we know the guy might have Norwegian father, Hungarian mother and living in US...

What's even the point of having this battle? We all know the European team will win if the team consists of all the best players.

I suggest the following:

1 Server in Iceland :)

Each team has 9 Squad and a commander - Each Squad is represented by one clan.
That makes 9 EU-Clans and 9 NA-Clans overall - should work.

The best EU location for a server would be in the UK, there is a cable crossing the Atlantic from Iceland to Canada, dont think it will help anyone.

Needs to be a custom layer with brits vs americans, canadians vs germans for kashan, or silent eagle or something of course. If this was going to happen, wouldnt each team need tryouts, so to speak? How are we going to conduct that?

also, im clearly the best player at this game, enjoy losing, yuropoors.

Implying Canucks don't speak French.
Implying that Scandinavians doesn't speak better English than the lowly colonies.
Implying I didn't grow up in America.
Implying we don't have Darwin on our side.
Implying you can unite under one banner.

I can do this.

EDIT:

We can do Kashan in the US. Change the MEC to British.

Then we can do Silent Eagle and Change Russians to US army.

Also, if we all send like 9001 PMs to Ancientman we can get 100p, since his computer will break down :D
