Deviation in Project Reality 0.973 - YouTube
There's plenty of topics concerning deviation - use the search function in the forums or youtube it like I did for the video above.

random deviation is the reason i don't play bf2 pr
pointing at someone only to your bullet come out at a 45 degree angle infuriates me to no end
this is why i like arma pr more, it has no random deviation, i hope the deviation gets removed in bf2 pr in the future

It is not random and your bullets coming out at a 45 degree angle just proves you have no knowledge of the deviation system in BF2

ya it is a shame that is is gone now. i would suggest to just take him to an empty server and have him shoot at you from different ranges and go by the rules of "long distance give settle time 4-6 sec. medium range 2-4 sec. and short range aim and crouch at the same time and fire full auto asap." works good for me. and if u get in that habit of crouching and shooting at the same time in extremely close quarters u will be surprised how often you duck under enemy fire.
