Okay, well i'm no tech expert, at all. BUT i do know that my Graphics card is reallyyy crappy, so is my desktop overall. But i cannot play 1.0 when it releases with this graphics card, i want to play it with a good FPS and good graphics. Here are my specs, what do you guys think i should change in order for it to be atleast decent, say Medium quality? Thanks in advance.

System Manufacturer: HP-Pavilion
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+ (2CPUs), ~3.0GHz
Memory: 3454MB RAM

That GPU is truly ****. Since we are talking PR:BF2 here (we are, arent we?!) just get a card for about 80 to 100 bucks. Should be just fine. If you are not planning on upgrading to a completely new system anytime soon don't spend more than that. Would be a waste considering the rest of your spec.
Also make sure you got the latest Service Packs for your Operating System (Vista).
Some supplementary information on your GPU:
http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu.p ... SE&id=1189
GTX650 has a score of 1882. Is a nice fit!

I'm not sure there is an upgrade possible for your system, so slow down and let's get the full specs of your system.

Do you know the manufacturer (HP, Dell, Gateway, etc) and model number of your PC?

Before you do anything you have to open your PC case and see if there is a slot available to put a new video card in, your Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 is a integrated GPU built into the motherboard.

On top of that you probably have a really low wattage power supply which might not be able to power the GPU.

So first let's get some specs, and we'll give you advice on what your options are.

you need to Download CPU-Z from
CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting
Just take screen shots of cpu z with each tab open like CPU. Mainboard. SPD, Graphics...... and post them on this thread
OR
Tell me your motherboard model which can be found in cpuz in the motherboard section.

get back to us when you can, plenty of people here willing to help you out,

Before you actually pony up to buy the card check 2 things:
a)Is there a free PCIe x16 Slot on your mainboard. Looks like this:
http://i4memory.com/reviewimages/mother ... S_PCIE.jpg
b)What wattage output your PSU provides. Don't think that will be of any trouble since the GTX650 has a Kepler GPU that draws only little power compared to their brethren. If its 400W> you should be golden. Below could get a tad tricky.

Your second picture upload shows you have a ECS Nettle2 v1.0, also called the ECS MCP61PM-HM
Here is your motherboard specs:
Motherboard Specifications, MCP61PM-HM (Nettle2) | HP? Support

Expansion Slots

One PCI Express x16

One PCI Express x1

Two PCI
You have the PCIe x16 expansion slot, so the next question is what wattage is your power supply rated.

Holy ****. I remember when I was running a Dell with the exact same specs about 8 years ago. Time to upgrade the entire computer bro!

Are you interested in assembling your own rig or buying an already assembled one? Tomorrow on Newegg will have some killer deals for both! I'll post some good links once I know your price range and what you want to do.

Well, if you have the exact model number.name of your HP machine we can try to google it,
the other option is to physically open up your PC and check the sticker on the PSU.

step one, shutdown PC.
step two, remove power plug,
step three, ground yourself,
step four , remove side cover,
step five, lookat PSU sticker, you might or might not have to remove the PSU depending on where the sticker is located and how the PSU is orientated in the case.
.

A longer tutorial on PSUs you probably will have your eyes glaze over reading:
The "power supply FAQ" - jonnyGURU Forums

Your label will look something like:
600 Watts
+5v 28a max load
+3.3v 30a max load
+12v 1 18a max load
-12v .8a max load
+5 VSB 3a max load
If you can get us this info, and the manufacturer and model number of your PSU, we can give you 100% certain advice on your next step.

NOTE THAT these labels are "Liars labels".

We're interested in the Wattage, again we want over 400Watts, and the +12Volt rail, +12v 1 20a max load is the minimum for the GTX 650.

Here is a list of GPUS in or near your price range and system specs, and their recommended Watts and 12v Amps.

Geforce GTX 650ti - 20A and a 400W PSU minimum
Geforce GTX 650 - 20A and a 400W PSU minimum
GeForce GT 640 - 20A and a 350W PSU minimum
GeForce GT 630 - 20A and a 350W PSU minimum

GeForce GTX 560 Ti - 31A and a 500W PSU minimum
GeForce GTX 550 Ti - 28A and a 450W PSU minimum

Radeon HD 7770 - 19A and a 500W psu minimum
Radeon HD 7750 - 16A and a 400W psu minimum

Radeon HD 6770 - 25A and a 450W PSU minimum
Radeon HD 6790 - 25A and a 450W PSU minimum

Well this is unfortunate. My psu sticker says
Conflicts, total dc output power may not exceed 300w ):
Um that's the only part of the sticker I understand. It has the model number however, it is PS-5301-08HA. Do I still have options with 300w power?

Here are the specifications for the PS-5301-08HA PSU:

Part Model: PS-5301-08HA Alt. P/N: 5188-2625 HP: Gateway: Compaq: Brand: Lite On - Original LITE ON Part. Description: Input 100-127V~/8A, 200-240V~/4A (50-60 Hz) Output +5V/25A, +12V/19A, +5Vsb/2A, +3.3V/18A, -12V/0.8A DC Output 300 W

Here is a really good conversation about replacing your specific power supply:
I need help upgrading my 300W PSU to a 650W PSU... - HP Support Forum

Everything you need to know is in the responses ,

again, you probably need the exact HP PC model number, and open up your case and physically measure the space you have for your PSU,
your PSU is slightly smaller than average, though there are options out there.
yours: 5.75" Wide X 3.25" Tall X 6.0" Deep
most PSUs are a half inch deeper.

so, I'd suggest trying to find a good PSU that fits, as compared to a generic OEM PSU that is the exact same dimension as the original. On holiday sales you should be around the $40 after rebate, or $50 out the door/delivered price range for a 550W PSU. Budget that in.,

Sorry i have not posted in a while. I've been very busy.
But i think i found a lot of choices but im not sure if there suitable for my needs? Im not looking for High end graphics just a good FPS with atleast med graphics.

Amazon.com: Sapphire Radeon HD 6450 1 GB DDR3 HDMI/DVI-D/VGA PCI-Express Graphics Card 100322L: Electronics

Newegg.com - PowerColor AX6670 1GBK3-H Radeon HD 6670 1GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card

Amazon.com: EVGA nVidia GeForce 9800GT 1 GB DDR3 VGA/DVI/HDMI PCI-Express Video Card 01G-P3-N988-TR: Electronics

I personally like the 3rd one the best but i do like options, the thing is i don't know which one can run on my 300w power supply? :-?

If I'm honest the 3rd one you found is the worst of the lot, its Very old and very power hungry, and I doubt it'd run with the rest of the system on a 300W PSU.

A quick google found: NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT | Specifications | GeForce
Which to sum up, says a min system requirement of 400W.

The same is with the 2nd GPU you found:
PowerColor Official Website - Graphics, Cases, Power Supply -- PowerColor HD6670 1GB DDR3 (however this is better than the 9800)

And the first GPU on your list isn't a great performer:
AMD Radeon HD 6450 review | Expert Reviews
Runs at 25FPS on COD4 :S, could manage more if they had AA off.

Appologies for being the bearer of bad news, but its the information I found.
Newegg.com - EVGA 02G-P3-2639-KR GeForce GT 630 2GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card
List of games it can play
NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 - Games
But it doesn't reach the recommended on most of the games there, so it'd be pushing it to say it'd play at med at a nice 30+ fps.

I reckon you could get the 6670 running on a 300W PSU but it would be pushing it and I'd advise against it..

You are up against 2 walls,
First, the 300 Watts.
Second, the 12V rail has a max output of 19Amps (+12V/19A)

Power requirements for graphics cards

Power requirements for graphics cards | MSI HQ User-to-User FAQ

GeForce GT 630 - 20A and a 350W PSU minimum
GeForce GT 620 - 18A and a 350W PSU minimum

The STOCK Radeon 6670 GDDR5 1GB has Max Power Draw: 66 W , not sure about the Amps, but you will almost surely be able to run it.
.
The STOCK Radeon HD 6750 GDDR5 1GB has Max Power Draw: 86 W , and 20Amps on the 12V Rail. This would be if you are a daring man. It is 15% to 30% faster card than the HD 6670 in most games.
