Tae Sae & Night Maps

Tae Sae and night maps in general are in a class of their own. The gameplay in them feel different than any other maps in PR.

However I'm wondering why there is no muzzle flash at all in these night maps. I can understand the excessive hollywood muzzle flashes that movies and other games portray are not real, but having none at all especially at night is not realistic.

Is there any way to add them back in on only this and other night maps? Or some lighting effect?

Ps: I'm hoping for some snow maps. I've yet to play any, maybe some with a frozen river or lake with breaks in the ice with freezing water that kills anyone who falls in it would be a nice touch?

There were 3 winter maps released a couple years ago. They were fun. Some server had some talks about releasing them for this winter.... ?

Here is a short, but cool video at the start of this thread: https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f376-p ... ruary.html

I read that when PR 1.0 is released it will fix some stuff like no muzzle flashes and will permit more effects, etc.

If they add flash effects for night maps
Hopeful they will add illumination rounds for the grenadier or motar teams.
Would be epic to the see those rounds go off in game during recon.
