Hello there! My PrBf2 keeps crashing to desktop for no reason(?). It seems to be happening at random times but I have a feeling it happens when i am firing heavy weapons like today when i was using the A-10 aircraft, i used the GAU togheter with some misslies and it crashed. I am starting it in SP3 and as administrator.
Here is some error logs, i hope it's the ones needed for figuring out what the problem is.
I can try to give some information about my computer aswell;

OS: Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit.
RAM: 1534MB
Processor: Intel core 2 CPU 4300 @1.8 GHz 1.8 GHz
Graphics: Nvidia Geforce 8400 GS (512 MB DDR2)

Another strange thing is that the games almost always crash at 00:00 or some minutes before the clock is 00:00, but i dont think that matters much just a strange thing i noticed.

You have Vista. This is the problem.

No seriously, if you're using steam, try verifying the cache integrity. Maybe some of the files are missing.

I can't really read error reports, but it may be an error with your graphics. Download your latest drivers and try lowering your graphics, it may help.

I can't think of other solutions right now, but if these doesn't work, you may have to re-install PR.

I already know i don't have the best PC, im a minority in my country so it's hard to get the cash for a better one. Anyway, the game work fine without lag, i have been running everything on the lowest setting with view distance at 75 %, but i still had the crashes, about a week ago i put the top half of the options on High and also view distance to 100 %, it worked fine without lagg, so i doubt it's my computer. I have 3 diffrent computers with PRBF2 and it happens to all of them, random crashes from time to time. Since this is the computer that usually works best i want to fix it here. On the others i get a crash like once every hour especially if i am starting the lan game on one of those computers, on the computer i am talking about here it happens like once every 2-3 hours.

btw, not using steam and i have updated my drivers to the latest driver.(Still getting the message on startup at profiles where it tells me i need to upgrade drivers for better quality etc.)

What are the specs of the other computers? To me it sounds like you're running out of memory. A low amount of RAM combined with Vista (which is quite a memory hog) means that the game has hardly any memory to play with, which is a big issue when trying to play PR:BF2.

I would suggest turning your settings down, specifically textures and lighting.

You can try it, personally I would change from vista to xp.

Using a slim custom version of WinXP on that PC would be a good option.

to build a very slim winXP that runs on as little as 140MB of RAM.

It takes some time , you wil learn alot, you will never want to do it again, so I suggest making a backup copy the first day you get it working.
