[0981] Normany K98 Sniper Scope Bug

Description:

In PR Normandy, the 1P model of the K98 sniper has no visible scope. Only when you zoom in you get the proper effects.

Steps to reproduce:
-Join the Wehrmacht in PR Normandy and get a Sniper kit

Tested on:
Local server using the rcon commands, I will try to check it on a regular server today

Video Settings
Maxed out + 8AA through Nvida Driver ( has never been a problem )

That's not a bug, it's the way it is. Someone needs to model a scope to it.

A problem I had with the this sniper is that I couldn't seem to hit anything, Not sure I If was aiming at the wrong place?
And the recoil is kind of silly too

Not seeing the scope is okay, but the when you take aim the scope is ridiculous, and it's really hard to hit people from long range.

I like it, and the real scope has the 3 lines for markers, not the traditional crosshairs...still like it more than the enfield's scope though :D

The vertical line's tip needs to be "sharpened" more, if you know what I mean.

Scopes back then only had like 4x magnification, I'm not surprised you can't hit shit at range.

so currently the scope is "zeroed" at what, the tip of the vertical line, or in the center, where the three lines would meet?

If your ever confused excatly where, its always the very centre of the screen (other than for some vehicle/PCO weapons) so just get a bit of string or something and stretch it out between the top left and bottom right corners of your screen then on its mid point is where your bullet comes out.

The top of the vertical line is where the bullet is supposed to hit (center), not where there's no indicator at all. That's pretty silly currently. You need to extend the vertical line to the center and make it's top into an arrow.

Look at the reference you posted and make it like that.

It could be extended, but even without it, just point to where the lines would meet and you're fine. It's not rocket science, guys.

Well you should change it AD, because most players don't know about bullets always coming from the center of the screen so it confuses them, also they'll stop complaining about it :razz:

Sure we could do that, but then we would need someone to re-export the new model and hopefully that do not fuck up the model by doing the export like it happened to the M1 Garand.
