In the next PR Update is it possible to give the A10 Warthog a more realistic sounds like in this Arma 2 video A-10 Warthog Destroys Taliban Hideout - Arma 2 - YouTube. I adore the A10 Warthog and it makes me sad when play BF2PR, I see a A10 fly by and it doesn't have that distinct sound. Anyways I know you guys are busy but I would be greatly grateful if you could do this for me and others who are Warthog fans.

That's how it sounds right now. I'm guessing 1.0 will bring a new sound for it with anders his magic fingers but yeah, don't see much difference.

Its funny how you connected both close up and distant fire sounds on that if it was you or not. But the second sound should only be applied as a distant sound if anything.

Yeah, you either hear the first sound (when close by) or the second sound (when further away), but not both. That's just odd .

I liked that A10 sound but that distance sound shouldnt be like that

It was done a while ago, and now i'm trying to continue my work.

For now its pretty simple and odd:
Using calculated burst, and 1 sound per burst.

I'm thinking about making new version of this based on PR(split the sound, move away from jet, use regions, etc...), but here is not so much tutorials for sound part, maybe dev's can help?

I would like the A-10 in PR to have the distant sound with a delay, like 5 seconds, so you could see the explosions on the grounds, THEN hear the "mmmmmphh" from the sky.

christ jets are to loud even when i turn my volume down and how can i hear an a-10 from half way across the map?

Tried to find good 3p sound for ages, and this fits ideally for continuing my work

If the A-10 fire uses the same muzzle flash sound system all weapons use, then there should be a delay, and i thing there is, Hereux. Impact sounds are heard before, because bullets fly faster than the sound, ya know. For it to be 5 seconds off, the A-10 would have to fire about 2km away... If there was an offset for the sake of it, it would look utterly retarded.

Its fine as it is now and anders is only going to make it far better.

I love the PR Default sound, and the Anders Mod version is SEX!

the sounds in anders and vanilla sounds great. I prefer vanilla though

hope A10 sounds better than previous version of PR

GP_MineralWouter that sounds a lot better. It just needs more of that high pitch whistling sound like this.

Because jets are loud in real life? You can hear jets for long distances.
