Mumble wrong certificate or password. HELP

hello,
For upgrading my computer I had to delete all programs, the problem now is that my mumble nickname was registered. Now I can't use my normal nickname in mumble. Can someone tell me how to solve this? I read on an other topic that I should contact the mumble administrator?
If yes, how do I contact him
If no, please help.
Greetz,
Baracortez

Just change your PRMumble nick to Baracortez_ of Baracortez1 or something like that.

Just to chime in somewhat related: so if you register your nick on Mumble then uninstall/reinstall Mumble you won't be able to use that nick?

You need to export the certificate, then when you reinstall PRMumble, import the certificate.

I should have known that before I deleted every file on my computer.

Well let's try this then. Thanks for support.

Is there any benefit to registering? I've only seen negatives thus far...

Not as far as I know, but I don't want it to happen that at some day someone else is using my name.

Hey could you guys tell me how you solved that problem??
I'm having sorf of same problems: Due to the release of PR 1.0 beta I played the beta and didnt notice that PR mumble was still running in the background. As i tabbed to my desktop I saw a notification that sounded like: The server has sent a damaged certificate... do you want to accept it. And i pressed yes... So from this point on I cant connect to the PR Mumble server... Although I can connect to every other public server that I tried.
After that I reinstalled PR Mumble which didnt seem to help. Although I have found some auto-backup-certificate files, they dont seem to help me...
Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem??
Best regards
