Just to let everyone know, Project Reality has a subreddit! I just joined Reddit a while ago and stumbled across it. It's not too active but I'd like to see if we can turn that around and hopefully build up our community.

as far as I know they actually have two.
I remember a bunch of them got together and formed a clan at one time. They were really bad, and eventually disbanded.

You might be talking about /projectawesome. They're still on Reddit and very much still active.

Yep. The PR subreddit is operated by the same people as PA. Although the number of PR players has certainly dwindled; focus has shifted towards ARMA and the ACE/ACRE mods. There aren't many of us that still want to play PR on a regular basis unfortunately, but I'm trying to change that. I recently set up our own server, and I intend on organising events for it. I'm sceptical whether or not it'll be a success... we'll just have to wait and see.
You're all very welcome to join us. There's no sign up, just look out for posts on the subreddit and then you can play with us at the time given. We have a Teamspeak server (info on the sidebar) and you can hop on that whenever you feel like. These days there's nearly always people wanting to play something.
Whilst the subreddit is only for the discussion of milsim games, the TS server can be used for any game.

I've never heard of that... but I can assure you when Stulanderâ„¢ is in command we come out on top!

Setting up events and announcing it in the forum is the best way to promote your server.

Reddit played a match against us that lasted all of 15 minutes, after that I never saw a reddit player again. They bit of more then they could chew and I wish they had maybe practiced the game more before jumping into a match against one of the more experienced teams around.

You need to differ guys. Reddit a large community website, called itself "the frontpage of the internet". There are tons of different subsections called subreddits including a one for PR.
The "clan/community" that was formed by some regular reddit users that play PR is called PA aka "Project Awesome".
How good they are or how they lost against certain other communities adds nothing to that topic in my opinion.

I disagree.
By going up against OD-S/SN1/SRF they didn't experience the potential of competitive play. Instead they got out maneuvered and the round was a bad example of what PR is. Before that match I had seen maybe 1 or 2 reddit guys on public servers so by that logic a lot of players had their baptism by fire in a match that turned out to be boring and most probably frustrating as hell to the average player on their side.
If they had more activity on a regular basis then I would agree that a one off stomp in a match a while ago would mean very little, but assuming a majority of their players had played PR once or twice before it very likely tainted their perception of the game as a whole.
