The title says it all, I can talk in both but cannot hear in either. I have googled it and went through the fourm looking for topics like these, I ran mumble as a administrator yesterday but that was the only time it worked.

What type of microphone do you have?
Is it a USB mic?

Does your Mic work in vanilla BF2 multiplayer?

Always run PRMumble as admin.
Always run PRMumble before PR.
Always run PR as admin.

The ingame VOIP not working is another problem, were you on a server that had ingame VOIP running on the server side?

You could have your firewall or router blocking your VOIP and PRMumble ports.. but if PRMumble worked once, that is probably not the case for mumble, could be so for ingame VOIP.

I have G35 headset which is usb, I havent played BF2 vanilla in the longest time so I couldnt say, and I always do run PRMumble as admin, run PR Mumble before PR, and run PR as admin.

I'm not that fancy dancy with anything electronic so im not sure if voip was on the server side but I only play on HOG.

I have G35 headset which is usb
That is the problem.

https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f27-pr ... ng-up.html

to fix this, you have to disable the G35 sound manager (should have an icon in the system tray) BEFORE you start PRmumble and PR.

Always disable G35 sound manager before starting PRMumble and PR.
Always run PRMumble as admin.
Always run PRMumble before PR.
Always run PR as admin.

Try this:
How to set up USB Audio in Windows Vista and Win... - Logitech Forums

What OS are you using?

run mumble as administrator and in windows xp compatibility mode (I'm assuming ur on windows 7, or vista?)
You could try:

"right click the speaker icon in the system tray and click Playback Devices, highlight the G35 speakers (or G930) and hit configure. Go through the wizard and DESELECT all of the speakers so that you only have left and right. Then go to Properties of G35 (or G930) speakers and to enhancements, and make sure Channel Phantoming is checked. I found that doing this made the stereo sound correct in certain apps that have issues, and does not seem to affect the headset when in surround mode."

Here is a tutorial on how to run "as administrator" and run in XP compatibility mode is in the same place using option four. Run as Administrator - Windows 7 Support Forums

Wait what?

If you post each step you took to get it to work we should be able to determine which option/setting/config file /etc is causing the problem. Without you having to reinstall each time.

Ok so step 1: Install from the fourms post by DB
Step 2:click next until you reach install, click install
Step 3:let it installand click yes/accept to the message that comes up then click finish.

I have it set on Windows XP Service Pack 3 for compatibility mode and run it as a admin.
I go through and make sure my headset is set in it and play pr.

That is bascially it. It's just the usual setup with mumble.

I found a quick soloution to my mumble problem, all i have to do is change my Audio Output device to another listed-apply then change it back to my preferred device.
