PR will not run fullscreen

Hey guys, I have been playing PR in fullscreen mode for years. I played last Sunday with no issues. Today I tried to start PR and it will not load, it acts like it is starting (black screen) then back to descktop.
I added the +fullscreen 0 to the target string and it will run normally in windowed mode (which I hate). any thoughts as to what may be the problem.
The only change to made was a windows update last night.

The most recent Windows update made my video card drivers not work. I updated my drivers and all is well.

Thanks for letting us know.
What video card are you using?

Same problem.
I checked for new updates to my video card, but it is up to date (Inter(R) HD Graphics Family).
I can run the game with high resolution/graphic settings on window mode, NP. However with full screen I can not even run lowest resolution/graphic settings.
What might be the problem?
SOLVED
"Didn't work for me, still getting CTD if I run PR in fullscreen...The game just crash right after I join a server (at the start of loading the map) without any error message.
It works fine in windowed mode.. I got win 7.
I tried changing resolution on both PR, BF2 and the computer also running in service pack 2, and as administrator
Someone got a solution?
EDIT: Solved by running it in compatability mode and as administrator for all users."

Mastermnimrod,
Which OS do you have? Win 7 x64?
Which compatibility mode fixed this problem?

Win 7 x64, I was trying to help Master with this but it seems it didn't get solved, it only worked one time and now it crashes again. Windowed mode works fine though. However we are not sure it was this thing that made it work one time or if he made some other changes aswell...(we used Win XP service pack 2)
