Hi all,

I'm new to this forum and maybe you can help me with this question.

Is there a list of available commands that I can use during a game? I like to know how to start a map vote for instance. Not that I want to start a map vote every 5 min, but I just like to know how to do it. Maybe it has been posted before, but I couldn't find it.

This is server dependent, you'll have to look up their rules for a list. For example, CIA has 3 commands available to regular players: !report, !admins, and !shownext.
Mapvotes have to be set by admins to run as far as I've seen.

servers running AD Framework give you a limited set of commands you can do.

Below are the standard set of open commands that should be available to all players on a standard install:

"admins": # Returns a list of online admins
"mumble": # Report a player
"r": # Report a player
"report": # Report a player (same as !r)
"rules": # Shows the serverrules
"shownext": # Show the next map
"version": # Shows the version of the AD Framework
"br": # shows if Battlerecorder is activated and which quality its running with
"website": # Displays a link to the server website

Commands are prefixed with a "!" e.g; type ! admins in any chat (most people prefer squad chat to avoid unnecessary clutter on the screen.

As bandwevil said mapvotes are generally an admin decision (i've not seen a server that allows anybody to run them - imagine the spammage).

Firstly, welcome and awesome name

Secondly, it depends on whether the server allows you to create a mapvote or not. In case it does, which is rare these days, you should find that option while pressing Tab - same you use to check the scores.

A related console command that I find useful sometimes, though, is "maplist.list"; so I know the entire map rotation.

But you can always, of course, type "!shownext" in the chat in servers that support this command.

@IINoddyII: Great man, that's what I want to know! Im gonna give it a try tonight on a off-line server. The Coop Servers like Veteran Gaming and 3rdAIU allow mapvotes. It's not used often, but it's allowed.

@Victor phx: Thank you, Kravmaga is hebrew for "Contact Combat". (My guess is you already knew that) I practice it for many years now. (Just for the background info!) But Im going to try the "Tab" thing, I'm not sure where to use it, is it at the console using ~ or do I find it just when pressing TAB during a game?

Well, yeah, I practice it too!

The mapvote is made during the game, no console. Just look at the superior part of the "Tab window", where along with server info is the mapvote option.

If it's not available, it's because the admins of the server chose to do so.

Hello guys. I'm also a new here, so nice to meet you!

I suggest you ask an administrator in the server to change the map you want. Communication is always very important.

By the way, every server can has its own comands, even the prefix "!" can be changed.

My questions are answered now. Admin can close the thread.
