we all saw Lordas old project to movie awards and that one was really good.

he made a teaser for us and O M G gave me a little tear in my eye when I saw what he made



I will update this thread when lordas have new stuff to show us

But I didnt really like the scene with the first soldier shooting. it had a strange shooting sound imo and the rain scene with the blue sky in the back.

But good work!

yeah, the sound effects need work. Might take some anders soundmod sound? Other then that it looks really good already, can't wait for more!

not 100% sure if inteded, but the invisible AAs shooting into the air look a bit weird.
(atleast you could have spawned some AAVs before)

But yeah, very promising so far!

Sadly it wasnt intentional, the second AA is behind a tree, and the first particle system went rogue and slided a few pixels to the left

Oh and yea, the sounds are placeholders, this is just a visualisation of what Ill try to achieve not the final scenes at all

quite enjoyable video, love the music and the editing. Hopefully more to come

And that is exactly the thing that worries me, QINLING might become something else cause I think Ill move to PR1.0 to film everything Well we will see what future brings us

Instead of Quinling (basically trees ONLY ) we (PR players) need another (new) good big map with two 2-seater bombers (each team one, also fighters ofc.) with GBUs (Laserguided bombs) and laser guided missiles...

2. i this a qinling feedback thread? That map was pretty enganing and fun for armor and ground assets. But yeah, the combat areas was in need of fixing.

I hope you can finish the video on qinling. It gives awesome setting for a good machinima. And besides, PR 0.98 maps can still be put into 1.0 manually. So you can always move it over to continue your project.

Project officially is being cancelled due to Qinling being removed in 1.0.

There will be something new, something different for sure, but not until 1.0. Thank you for the support and interest.

Hopefully a very nice overworked, bug-free "Wanda Shan" (or whatever map there was in an earlier PR version) will be worth it to replace Quinling... (Hopefully British vs. China again, with tanks & apcs... )

Would be cool if lordas can get a invite to the beta testing team and get the files so he can start making a film. Also get the help of the beta team as actors if needed. Would be very cool to see promo film ready for the release or as a teaser before the launch. Made by lordas with his gift for directing and cinematography it would be epic.

Not saying he couldn't, but recently Rdev Gore became the pr official video guy. And nobody is stopping him from applying for tester
