A10 VS Su25

I don't understand one thing. A10's max speed is only 438 mph (706 km/h). But in game it gets faster than 1000km/h.
Su25 should be significantly faster and nimbler than a10, but it isn't in game. Why?
I mean, a10 already has an upper hand by having more ammo and stuff, but su25 should be better at switching between in and out of dive attack moves due to its agility and also should be faster to compensate its lack of enough ammo. In reality, after emptying its ammunition su25 can even speed up to mach 1+ .

only thing the a10 has more of, in terms of ammunition, is the cannon. Just look at the hydras the a10 has 38 and the Su25 has 128 or something like that. Bombs and missiles are equal is I'm not mistaken.
As for speed and maneuverability the a10 is 100mph slower (IRL) and would be more nimble due to the efficiency of the straight wing design at low (subsonic) speeds thus the reason its designers gave it a straight rather than sloped wing

I'm fairly sure that speeds on the HUDs are never correct. I don't think a Chinook can reach speeds of 600+ km/h.

Su25 can slow down too, its also smaller than a10 and carries less weight, on the whole weighs less and its wing is also straight(well kind of a) so it should be more agile... Don't you think?

relative speeds are what's important. If the A10 does 1000 units of speed in PR, and the Su-25 does 1300, then it's 1.3 times faster, which is about as how much faster it is in real life. I dont see any issue in that case.

Honestly the Su-25 and A10 in PR arent too different in turn radius. The A10 in real life has a lot of lift from it's huge wings, it does turn quite well. They're both pretty good planes in game, the A10 is a little better I think, though, the GAU-8 is unrivaled. The Su-25 has rockets to make up for it, but theyre not as useful ive found.
I dont think theres any imbalance or unfair representation.

If you want to know a basically cast iron opinion of what the differences between the SU-25 and the A-10 should be I recommend you go to the DCS:A-10 forums and make a post in the appropriate section (they are knowledgeable guys and will help you out as much as they can if you tell them you want to know for the sake of PR).
Obviously it's all relative between the A-10 and the Su-25, PR isn't a sim so the aircraft are a representation of the real life aircraft's abilities only.

BF2 speed units are realistic in name only.

Dem common misnomers. If you're not a military expert, don't make claims. Here's another unsubstantiated claim (except this one is actually true) - IRL the SU25 is actually slower than an A10 if both are carrying max payload.
The door is on your left. Don't let it hit you on the way out.

Forgive me kindly Sir, but that is quite a laughable assumption. Especially taking into account the facts that a10 has turbofan engines whereas su25 has straight turbojet engines. Su25 smaller and weighs less, its standard payload max speed is 950 km, without it, it flies even faster. Su25 max payload speed is only manually limited by the type of payload it installed(rockets, pods of different size and forms), so they don't fall off if plane exceeds some recommended speed. But again, they don't stuff up the plane to the max, trying to compare them with that, is absurd.
