]CIA[ Indigo - Op. Moonshine (Mission)

May 3rd, 1965 @ 2200 PRTime
US Aircav has landed on Ia Drang earlier this day. In the midst of the action, a platoon has been cut off and has to survive the night. They set the denfenses and hope for the best while NVA creeps towards them through the woods.


Notes:
This is a Mission (One-Life Event). Once your death count reaches 1, you will be removed for the duration of the session. (Accidents, Internet Timeouts etc. are no excuse. When you're gone, you're gone.)
Also, this is yet one of our test-ish events. We are gaining data on how different scenarios work. Expect more fluidity and perhaps even a storyline in the future.

Rules:
US will have 10 minute preparation time after they capture Cutoff Platoon. NVA will hold at main until the time has passed.

Interesting...

A small map with 1 life should produce some crazy encounters and force some really great teamwork, looking forward to this.

yep, it's gonna be awesome. can't choose on which side I wanna be. :lol:
don't you think that 10 minutes(+3-5 minutes before US gonna capture cut-off platoon) of just waiting until enemy ready is kinda too much and will scare many people off? maybe 6-7 minutes will be enough? if US ain't gonna be completely ready - it's fine becouse NVA are forced to attack.

I agree, but what if it will be 30 players instead of 60 like the last time? Sure it will be fun anyway, but i prefer as much people as possible in such awesome event. And if everything will be perfectly ready to fend off the attack(I believe 10 minutes of preparations is more than enough for that) NVA will have a very hard time. But yeah, i don't know if NVA gonna have armor and stuff.

It was unbalanced, at the start NVA side had less players than US which is a real disadvantage since we had to attack fully prepared enemies on the hill.
I was a medic and unfortunately I got kicked(loosing key packets) when almost all of my squad died, when I rejoined the server game was already over, this time it was really fast and I enjoyed it less becouse of disbalance(IMO), and becouse I got kicked and becouse I hate nightmaps in PR. :lol:

It is all aprt of the testing process. Team is preparing a new one, which should be up pretty soon, and on a different day.
