It would seem I cannot be heard while talking on mumble, I have ran it with admin rights, nothing. Is this a known issue?

In what state were you with regards to mumble?
Were you in the server list, the server's lobby, the squad's channel?

Do you have a headset with USB? If yes, try to change the settings for input and output in mumble and set it to your device. You can also test to set it to default.
