No, if 1.0 would be around soon, they would announce a release date and have pre-loads available.
I don't think 1.0 will be around until at least July-August.

A number of server hosts have reported DDOS attacks.
Server admins are working together to identify the source and implement measures to prevent re-occurrences.
I'm sure they appreciate your patience
