Hey!
Due to freaking "fast" internet connections, downloading BF2 + PR files would take like 12-13hours.. Is it possible to just copy the whole bf2 folder with the PR directory in it to instant play PR? It would save me a big time, and the chance to maybe play tonight!

Viagi!

PS: I'm going to try anyway, was just wondering if annyone had done it :P

I would like to hope you are the future of software designers.

Sadly not, it will not work.

Don't ask me for technical reasons but I would just be making something up (whilst it might be true) it probably isn't the main reason why it wouldn't work.

Yes, but it is probably going to take you more than 12 hours sitting in front of the PC to learn how to do it,
You'll need to be running similar OS on both PC, both being 32 bit, or 64 bit, and both being XP, or both being Vista or newer.

What version of BF2 do you own? Steam, EA Origin, Retail DVD, etc?

The idea is, not only do the files need to be moved over, you have to copy over the registry entries also.

You have options:
1. Do this manually, through a registry editor,

2. buy PCMover, product page: Home - Laplink? Software

13 hours is just enough time to sleep, wake up, and go enjoy a nice day or weekend outdoors, much better choice than learning how to transfer windows registry entries... imho

the cdkeychanger that comes with the 1.5 patch doesn't do that for you?

cdkeychanger will alter a single registry entry.

First, You need to move over something like 22 entries, then use cdkeychanger to enter your CD key.
