I;'vbe been off this game for around 6-12 months now and I want to get back on track and start playing again, some of you may remember me, either way now my exams are comming to an end next week I need some time to kill.

What I'd love to know is what has been added since 0.97 (my current patch) and 0.98 and if there are any map packs i should get etc.?

Also I was wondering if the PR tournament is going to ever make a come back?

And I saw the news about PR2, which is fantastic, this MoD is my favorite "game" of all time, it has amazinga ssets and the best gameplay of any game i've played so seeing the start on PR2 become a more "offical" thing is great.

Just make sure everything is updated, use mumble and play! There is almost always a server up. For map packs you dont need those other than what is in the update unless you want to take part in an event.

We havent done the PR tournament in a while, I think its more towards events now, just watch the forum for them, and download and play!

ahhh that's good to hear, there was always that trouble when you wanted to play a map but half the server didn't have the map pack.

Just wait till 1.0 so you don't have to relearn everything, it will be out any day now... hopefully.

It's still worth downloading the current version.

PR:BF2 development is coming along. I've seen a lot of new content recently, and most of the wait is over already, but it's not going to come out this month, so don't bother waiting for it instead of playing the current version

ahhh okay well it isn't out on wednesday then i'll get 0.98 xD

what's not mentioned is that 0.98 has all minimods: Falklands, Vietnam and WW2.

HAHAHA, once I get my shit sorted out and I get back into the PR groove I shall join you!
