Yep, it's included in PR. You can expect even more single player / coop support in PR v1.0, something to really look forward to

Welcome to the forum, UndeadGamer
As AfterDune said, you can play Co-Op in Project Reality for BF2, which means you either actually join or host a server to play against bots with your friends, or you host a server on LAN without any friend, which basically means you play singleplayer.
1.0 will indeed come with a lot of improvements for Co-Op gameplay.
Of course, the heart of PR always lied in multiplayer, and I suggest you to give it a shot, but if you cannot or do not want to play against human players, Co-Op is not only fun, but also great practice!
I'll leave this thread open in case you have any further questions on getting started

Check out Veterans Coop server.
No teamswitching/stacking, smack talk, racial slurs or infantile admins.
I think the ai is set above .7
Mega fun!

True. And beware of bushes/trees, bots can see through everything that isn't perfectly solid (sadly).

One annoying thing with the bots, is that the attack helicopter ai is really screwed up whenever they see an enemy they like bob back and forth and end up firing their missiles straight into the air. Do you guys know why they are like this? And why not just make the attack helicopter ai like it is in vBF2

Well, you are technically playing against developers in co-op

The first time I noticed that was then I saw [R-BOT] Z-Trooper and i thought "huh, I think that was one of the developers." Then I looked at all the other bots and see Rhino, Ancientman, K4on, Epoch and others and thought that was kind of a cool way to "immortalize" the developers in that once they leave PR for whatever reason, they're still in it.
