VTOL hovering

Hi all, Don't know it this is a glitch or me. When I'm in a VTOL aircraft I can take off vertacally and hover. However when I take off normally I'll take her up to altitude and throttle back to go in to hover mode. She won't hover she just drops out of the sky. I've throttled all the way into reverse as I would on BF2. Is this a joystick thing or a glitch?

Did it happened in regular PR or Falklands. If in regular, reason is VTOL aircrafts are not coded properly in 0.98, if in Falklands, keep in mind you need some time before you can switch into VTOL mode. I advise you to try gaining some altitude, and then switching to hover, if you fell to the water, something is wrong.

It was regular PR. I actually went back tp BF2 to confirm it wasn't joystick and it works fine on BF2 so it may be a 0.98 problem as you said. Will have to wait till 1.0 comes out or just land normally.

There are not STOVL aircraft in normal PR, unless your playing on Test Airfield or something and if so, those Harriers or F-35s as Mosz said have not been coded.

The only ones that have are the Harriers on "The Falklands" map.
