Error reads:

Error verifying the integrity of the following file:

C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\rendDX9x2.dll

This may be caused by unauthorized file modifications, hard drive corruption or file permission errors.

To fix the issue, please verify the integrity of your game install or reinstall Battlefield 2 v1.5.




I start the game, join a server but then i get stuck in the spawn screen and cannot select a kit or spawn point. I'm stuck watching everyone else.

I've done several PB updates and I've re-installed the Beta 3 times with no luck. Its the same thing every time.

FYI: I'm not technologically advanced so be gentle with the lingo.

I have also changed my compatibility to Windows 7 and tried to run as admin still no luck.....

Same error here for Windows 8. Hopefully the Devs will help us soon.

Had the same issue. Win7 64-bit.

Downloaded a new renddx9x2.dll from RendDX9x2.dll and replace the one in Program Files/EA Games/Battlefield 2 with that. Installing PR updates now.

Some additional information


This error appears when I check up date

Same after installed version 1.0, I can normally play the 0981 version,

Replace the file and it will be correct solution

why this error does not occur in the 0981 version that I can play normally

This happened to me too, after the game crashed yesterday. Next time i tried to run it i got this error. Maybe someone can upload their renddx9.dll so we can download, like a quick fix?
