Have you tried deleting the profiles and starting from scratch?

Reinstall the beta - everything is fine.

If you get this, for now delete the folder "ProjectReality" in "My documents". You'll import your profiles from BF2 again and you're on your way.

Having the same problem but deleting the folder is no good for me
