Some friendly players show their names as HUDs over their characters (like I'm used to it since BF2 or PR 0.98 if you hover over their figures with the crosshair or if you are close enough to your squadmembers) and on the other hand some of my teammates do not show that HUD. This used to happen on all three maps.
I couldn't find any reasons why it was happening (maybe tabing out of the game was the issue).
This bug applies to Squadmembers and the rest of the team too.

This is because the servers have over 64 players. Only the first 64 people render a nametag. This is apparently hard to fix since bf2 had it with a max of 64.

I had the same issue. I hope they will just remove all names completely. Having name tags on some and not on others doesn't look good and makes the ones with none feel like enemies. The Devs said they will look at all options on the issue.
