Whats the point ?

So whats the point of making an open beta with such a limited amount of playable server ? i mean, why the hell you release it to public when 99.99% of people are unable to play at all. You should have take 300 people, make them "win a beta Key" and then stress test you're shit out.
By the end of this story, some people would say "why are you complaining i was able to play from the begining to the end" well i would answer something like "well nice for you but cause of people like you that had no life and the keep on waiting and waiting and waiting to make sure at the second the server is up to join it, go FYS

"
PR is almost dead... doing things like that just make more people upset and kill it a lil bit more.

It's for testing. Not to make you able to play it all day long

They only have limited resources. They don't have infinite server power. Try to join the current servers, if you can't then wait or go do something else. Again, it's a open beta. Not the full release.
I'm sure they are trying as hard as they can to keep up with the demand, they aren't trying to make you annoyed on purpose. Just relax.

My point is; why is it open ? when it clearly should have been done "closed", give 300 guyz a "beta key" (just like previous version have an unlock key) rather than throw this to us and making alot more people piss off.
Its just like if they where saying "Well we do our part, we work on it, release it on open beta, what happen after is not our fault, we have no money to run dozens of server deal with it".
Yeah i can understand this, but this bring us back to what i said; whats the point of making it open then.

Geeze man chillax. The Devs didn't have to release anything but chose to anyway. I mean, this our first major glimpse of what's to come. Appreciate that.

It's been mentioned a number of times that if it's feasible other servers might be made available.
This is not a release.... But Beta testing of a future relase. Testing is not fun, it's often repetitive and pretty boring (hats off to the dedicated testing team) with the intention to iron out the bugs prior to being released. Because of the massive undertaking that is V1.0 it's all hands on deck so to speak. Open Beta ensures the servers are fully populated to achieve that.
Pointless thread. Closing.

There's been a huge player response. We did not anticipate to break records here, but now that there's so many people who want to play, new servers are an option.
keep in mind that it's the day after release. In a few days, maybe we won't need as many servers because people will play a bit less frequently / long.
What this has shown us, however, is that PR is far from dying. Now, as has been said, this is a beta test and it's using our testing servers, and there aren't dozens of those. We'll keep you updated, folks, don't worry. Just hang in there for a little longer. This is testing, and testing means things can go unexpectedly wrong.
Update: There are four servers now, one of which is NOT full at this time. Go and play!

There are enough servers online, at least for the current demand.
Enjoy!
