Hey!
I was finally able to download the beta and now it crashes after starting it.
It runs until it reaches the PR intro, and then it closes, just giving me the info: "clearing BF2-PR resources"

What information do you need else?

In the launcher you'll see a support menu item (about 4 down).

Switch to the 'Utilities' tab and clear shader, favourites, history, etc.

If that doesn't fix the problem, cut and paste teh detail in the 'Support Info' tab here.

Also try turning off your AV and Firewall.

Confirm also that you have updated (we are on 1.0.19)

Ok man. That helped me:

- Renaming all folders that located in c:\Users\user_name\Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\
(actually inserting "_" symbol before the folder name)
- Uninstalling BETA
- Installing beta through several error reports saying that can't update because "BLA BLA 76 ERROR..."
- Updating finally
- Retrieving account through USERNAME and PASSWORD
- PROFIT!

thanks for the replies guys, but the only thing that happened is that the intro now finish, and then the a bit of the sound AFTER the intro appears, and then the game closes with same error

Can you run in windowed mode so we can see if any errors are returned from BF2

Nothing is working for me! I use Win 7 64bit and is really frustrating! Restarting, installing everything! I still get 'Clearing BF2 resources'!

Same here still...........windowed mode crashes instantly after intro Also win 7 64 bit
