Same problem here. It was working fine yesterday, but then it started to crash repeatedly as described here. As of today it simply refuses to start up. However, for the 30 minutes that it was working I must say that 1.0 is simply stunning.

Yesterday most servers didn't have mumble enabled. So mumble won't launch if the server doesn't support it.

I still can't get mumble to work in the beta. I've restarted several times. I've alt tabbed and see the mumble icon by the clock. when i pull it up it says "SSL Verification Failed host name did not match any of the valid hosts of this certificate" and "SSL Verification failed The certificate is self signed and untrusted"

People in the server have working mumble, so what do i do?

I had the SSL thing too, I closed mumble then it 're opened and connected without the SSL issue.

I suppose it makes sense to ensure the BF2 voip is unchecked too?

Was in Black Gold tonight about 710PM EST. My game crashed while flying, and when I looked in systems tray, there was 5 instances of mumble running. I'm guessing this is why I crashed?

This is actually a problem with windows. As the program closes improperly, it doesn't remove the icon. So if mumble crashes and then restarts it leaves multiple icons visible, while there are no actual programs running. They disappear instant you move your mouse over them.

While the ingame mumble runs unstable as fuck, I suggest to switch back to normal mumble until its fixed.

My mumble crashes very often, varies from 10 seconds to 10 minutes. Sundromes are no mumble sound, overlay freezes in the state it was in (ie. people who were talking when it crashed are displayed constantly, and my mouse slows down significantly. It does not stutter per se, its more like my mouse sensitivity went down to percent of normal value. Then i need to tab out, i see the "Sorry for the inconvinience" message, i click "End application" in that and mumble starts again. Sometimes it crashes right off the bat, sometimes it works for a time (but less then 10 minutes).

Today for one time the mumble freezed. The UI (of the program, not overlay) was responding, but didnt do anything, and everything alse was frozen. It fixed itself when I killed the service.

It's always worth checking the hidden icons, if there's more than one the SSL error comes mouse over the icons to close them.
If it still isn't working close it and it 're opens.
Check your key binds and run wizard to get audio levels right. Since I've switched off BF VOIP it seems better now. It was OK for a whole round yesterday.

If I leave mumble open on my second screen it crashes straight away every time.

Someone told me there was a solution to the alt+tabbing, you had to change somethingin the registry.
anyone knows what it is?
