But it's a beta test so hopefully everything will be squared away prior to release.

thank god its not just me.....but yea hope the devs would fix it for the final release

Please before you go on bashing the developers, this engine is more than eight years old and limited in many ways.

Hardware requirements are slightly increased. If you think your hardware should be able to handle the new effects and stuff, and you're still experience significant FPS decrease, please file a bug report (if you know what exactly caused it) or, otherwise, go to the technical support section.
