Have driver inside, same squad, me black screen in gunner seat saying "cannot use vehicle alone"...

Are you sure you entered vehicle after driver entered it. If gunner enter first, he must reenter it after driver enters.

It has been bugged in multiple ways during the beta. It is known, and should be fixed in the next update.
