Downloaded patch from 97.3 to Beta and got the "unverifiable version...are you sure?" message. I hit properties on my PR desktop icon (the one I use to boot the game daily) and it show ver.97 but no ".3" on the end. I'm thinking the "3" is the 3rd of 3 download's I did to keep the game current?

Anyway, I did the whole "install" thing but I don't see new launchable "Beta" icons on my desktop. So, I launch from the "97" icon and everything comes up as usual PLUS I see the "Beta" callout in the bottom left of my PR game interface/GUI/console or whatever you call it.

I hit "internet" and "update maps" but no "Beta" maps (i.e. 100 vs 100).

So, I filter by "players" and "maps" (ie Fools Road...on of the updated test one's) and nothing.

What's a PR brother to do now?

Um, the 1.0 Beta is a separate mod directory installation

Not sure which verszion of BF2 you have installed, you can manually find the PRLauncher exe at something like this for Origin and retail CD installations:
Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 2 Complete Collection\mods\PR_Beta\Bin\PRLauncher.exe

Steam is something like:
C:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Battlefield 2 Complete Collection\mods\PR_Beta\Bin\PRLauncher.exe

That should get you up and running to start, report back if you can't figure it out from there.
