Launch Error 1001

I installed the PR 1.0 beta using the torrent. Whenever I try to login using the launcher, I get the error message "1001:Error Connecting to server. (87)" When I try to update, the launcher says I am already up to date, even though my version number is 1.0.15.0. Finally, if I try clicking support, I get a critical error that closes the launcher. My log file is as follows:
