The jets are not succeeding activate the bombs "lock bomb alert" in lasers designated by squad leaders .. can you tell me if it is a bug?

* Note: the sound saying "bomb lock" is not being said.

look at this example, here is the PR 0.98 (lock bomb jet was working)

Put in 720 to see the way of the bomb, A-10 locking on my squad leaders laser.

***this type of laser lock not working in PR 1.0!
The Bomb lock system was removed in version 1.0 or is just a bug? :(

PS: I mean the "BOMB LOCK" and not the "missile lock"

**note2: I tested it on the map BLACK GOLD, using china jets.

Sorry, my inglish is very bad...
regards,
daniel

Could be you were in one of the jets with dumb bombs. There are certain planes that carry only dumb bombs now and some that carry guided missiles and others with smart bombs. Not real sure how you know whether they are smart or dumb bombs though not a big jet pilot.

Bombs carried by light and heavy ground attack planes in this build are generally 500lb freefall bombs with no guidance. This is to encourage using ground attacks in a more direct-attack role, and their durability has been raised to compensate: light attackers have the maneuvering of fighter jets to evade incoming missiles and cannon, while heavy attackers can withstand more punishment.

With practice, you can make 500lb bombs do lots of work, but we wanted to raise the correlation between pilot skill and attack efficiency on ground attackers. You can overfly the target and launch a missile to receive kill if the target is lazed, but when attacking without a laze or with unguided ordnance, you'll need to keep your wits about you, plan your attack, and time things right. Free-fall ordnance behaves pretty consistently, with the exception (currently) of the Su-39's bombs, which have an annoying tendency to glide.

Closing, as this is by design.
