Just some quick thoughts Id like the share with everyone here about mushy feelings I have for this game...

I've been playing PR for a lot of years and just yesterday whilst SL'ing I realized what makes this game truely great and one of a kind, and you know what that is?

People. This game is about working with people. In the most extreme fashion.
This game simulates throwing a bunch of strangers in a very realistic shoot out and makes them come together and *truely* work together to thrive or die.

There isnt one single other game out there that brings people together, voice to voice, for hours on end with the same depth as PR coupled with mumble.

It's a real-time social game. One of a kind.

It's fun just chattin' to strangers (i.e on long foot journeys/trans) and the awesome gameplay.

+1

Always the first thing I can say about PR is that the community is top notch.
We're not complete strangers, though. We know why we're here and all, so it is easy to talk unrelated things with random people for the whole match, like you knew them before you joined the server.

This is the only game where your Name carries your reputation.
Most games you have to perform stat check to see if a player is skilled but in PR we remember People.

Knowing so many by voice is the best part of the game!
Every modern game that has not implemented any mumble like position based feature is just a joke!
Bf3 anyone?

I like this. I don't play the other games you are referring to, but I can imagine the stark difference between our community and others.

Your kill :d eath means nothing here young man...now get back in formation!

very true. I didnt play pr before mumble, not sure it would have had the same magic effect on me without it.

True but not always..
Last week that i played - 70% of teams were bunch of... deers?, 1-2 squad's plaing and the rest of the team doing shit and wasting assets.
The funniest thing is that- those who do shit's,nonteamplayers and etc.- usualy talk about "TeamPlay".
About other games, there is games that you can play together for hours and voice to voice,- in PR easier to find a "company".
