I was in a LAV-25 as a gunner, SQL was the driver...
We had another APC with us... close by
He exited the APC, got run over by a friendly vehicle, so I exited the APC and grabbed the medic kit from it to revive him... when people from the SQ said they were seeing his icon flying all over the map, mainly around the area he had died... I didnt see that or record it... I went straight to his wounded body and found nothing there... When I pressed CAPS LOCK to see again where he was, I saw his icon flying around the area... and I started recording it...
Unfortunately I couldnt record it, but I recorded the moment when his icon goes to the bottom of the map, then to the top:

His body was probably pushed trough the terrain or slinged to the air by the collision of the vehicles. Engine bug and I doubt there is anything that can be done to fix it.

i remember that. his icon was crossing the map in a second and back again. it went on for a while too. it's not a new thing, or at least i've seen it maybe once or twice before in pr.

It could be the new ragdoll animations causing an issue but i doubt that is it.

I doubt it's because new ragdoll animation, because it was happening in PR for a long time now, although I didn't experienced it myself.

has anyone ever tried to load up BR and see if the corpse is actually warping at mach 3? i've looked for the body myself after seeing it, but figured it was below the map or something ridiculous

I've seen it happen before and unless it can be repeated consistently, it will be hard to trace the bug.

we're not going to solve it today and it's so rare that it's almost not relevant.
i'll add though, that it seems to be related to vehicles. it's not something happens to your average grunt.
i'll throw one out there. have you ever been tk'd by a friendly vehicle, even though it wasn't near you? sometimes if you are near a very small gap (a box and a wall) the vehicle will teamkill you without actually touching you in any way. this is repeatable. maybe the same issue is causing this, but in this case, the driver of the apc is a unique situation. causing this weird ghost behavior.
