Can I get some guides?

Hello, guys.
I am planning on buying the game today or tomorrow, and I do not really understand in Mumble, and the game itself.
The thing is, if you can please give me some guides, on how to use Mumble, and how to talk to people through the game, like to my squad, or like to the people around me, or to everyone on my team, on how to plant all the kind of stuff like FOB's, and all the basic but important stuff, so if you can put some time in it, so please write here or just send a video if there is.
EDIT: And also if you can quickly explain me how to install PR, I mean, to install it into my BF2 folder and that's it? or...?
(Not sure if it's the right section to open the thread on).
Thank you.

Did you already searched for the manual with the search function? If not, do it right now. It will explain the basics, read it carefully and you are ready to go. And for mumble, it is a 3th party voice program used for communications. Download it, install it, run it as admin and set it up. Search it up and you will probably find more later on.

Here is a Install guide:
https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f27-pr ... guide.html
Mumble is included, just run it (as admin) before starting PR. You automaticly get connected to the right squad the second you join a squad. Press "0" (Numpad) to chat with your squad, press "H" to speak with everyone around you (50m). You can change the buttons in the Mumble konfiguration menu.
When you start playing, just join a squad say, push "0" and say "hello, I am new to pr, could you help me". Do that till you find a squad which offers you help. Community in PR is very helpfull, shoundnt take you long to find someone. Dont bother with Squadleading or using assets before you got some experience as normal infantry squadmember. Learn the basics first.
Read the Manual: Even if you never read manuals, this manual is a must. You wont understand the game without reading it.

Yup. It's all there in the manual. I posted a sticky that links to a lot of old threads, some of them aren't entirely up to date, but it includes mumble tutorials and information. Again, take the info with a grain of salt, I don't know when these threads were last updated.

Steam BF2 will update to the latest version automatically. Starting up the game bugs a bit for me(using Windows Vista), but it's manageable and will vanish once PR version 0.98 will be replaced by 1.0 and it's launcher.

make sure 0.98 & 1.0 are both different versions... 1.0 got closed today already so u are gonna start with the old regular pr called 0.98, pr1.0 had a beta last week but it has been closed and they are developing for 1.0 full release... to run PRMUMBLE1.0 run it as administrator and it will automaticly let you join the correct squad... squadleaders will take care for the fobs and you as a member of a squad will build it up with the rest of the squad..
very important thing is to just read the manual and then hop in PR and search for a good infantry squad... not a squad name FREE KITS but a squad named INF or KILLFANTRY or whatever.. tell the squadleader your new and want to learn the game... he will tell you to stick with him and what 2 do... and soon u will be more efficient in the game

I already read the manual thingy, and tomorrow at the morning I suppose I will buy and download, and at the evening I will be ready to play.
