I know alot of rifles use this, but I would like to see this feature so you can count your ammo in a hurry for the most part. i wouldnt expect ot see something like this immediatly, but over time i think this would be a cool addition.

yeah that'd be cool, but with the view of the rifle you have in bf2 wouldnt allow you to see it, or do you mean more as eye candy? in which case im still all for it

As of now, none of the small arms planned for inclusion in PR are issued with translucent magazines. So, counting your shots (and making your shots count) will be important.

Will we have a magazine count though? I understand not being able to count individual ammo, unless you do it your self, but magazines are something that as a player you can't see but in real life would be able to count.

You have an ammo counter!?! Is PR removing this? If so i think keep it if there is no alternate way to see how much ammo you have.

well maybe the ammo counter will have to go. i mean in real life you don't know either.

Correct, you don't know. However, after every engagment, be it short or long, Magazines are changed irelevent of remaining rounds.
The same basically as we do in game.

The main aim of any MOD is to make the simple things work and then follow up on the eye candy, If totaly necessary!

Ask yourself this, Do I really count rounds? I am I at an advantage if I do?
I think the answer is NO.

After every engagment...........change mags!!!! as we do IRL.

I've always been in the habbit of doing that, started in MOHAA. I try to stop my self but it's usualy too late and I end up slapping my self after I waste 20 rounds or so. Of course, if every player made this common practice then the support units in game would get more to do.

i always change mags after a fight, especially in bf2 where i know for sure half a mag isn't going to be enough for the next engagement. and you don't wanna have to change one in the middle of flying bullets.

Actually, it would be nice with no ammo counter, although your health bar would probably be a good idea to keep intact.

Yeh the amount of bullets needed in bf2 demo anyway u use a whole clip to kill one guy. If the bullet damage and accuracy is increased in PR then it wont be necessary to reload after every fight as u may only use 5 bullets :?

yeah, but right now it takes half a mag if not more.
