So after really long pause I was curious what's new so downloaded the PR-BF2 open beta, installed, imported my profile and fired up the game.

If I skip the update process I can fire up the game but there are no servers

But If I let it update, it errors on me

Already re-installed and and re-checked all possible / probable compatibility issues but running out of ideas now

Beta has ended and is no longer available to download, to host local servers, or to play singleplayer.
Please stand by for eventual release of PR v1.0 .

You can/should uninstall the Beta, but before you do so, copy the file RendDX9.dll in your program files\bf2\ directory to your desktop. After uninstalling, copy it back to the \bf2\ directory.

(Small oversight in the uninstaller code)

Here are the quickest fixes we have found, option 3 is the easy solution:

'[color=Red wrote:[R-DEV]AncientMan[/color];1915930']Yeah, most likely the installer is uninstalling RendDX9.dll, I'll make sure to fix it for 1.0, but for now, you can either:

1. Not uninstall (I mean, it's PR, it should NEVER leave you're machine )
2. Reinstall v1.0 Open BETA
3. Uninstall, and copy in RendDX9.dll to your root BF2 directory.

Appreciate the prompt reply mate thanks and just so I fully understand, there is currently no PR-BF2 played at all? I can't really see any other patch / installer to be downloaded so I assume it must be the case?

While PR BF2 1.0 beta is indeed over and unplayable, the previous version, PR version 0.98 is still available and played.

Project Reality: PRSPY --> active servers.

For this you will need to install 0.97 files and the 0.98 patch.All found on the download page.
